SUPERHEROES vs. VILLAINS

NBS Dinner & Dance is an event held annually for the freshmen of NBS in August. It is held in conjunction with the NBS Freshmen Orientation Camp 2014. It serves as a culmination to the freshmen orientation process by officially welcoming the new batch of undergraduates to join the big NBS family, and it promises to be a grand and glitzy affair. Every year, the turnout for this highly-anticipated event is about 240, consisting of freshmen, seniors, alumni, professors, and other invited guests. It is arguably the social event for students that draw the greatest attention, in the NTU calendar.

 

The highlight of the Dinner & Dance will be the Pageant Competition, where 16 nominated freshmen compete in a series of activities and performances, as they vie for the coveted titles of NBS King & NBS Queen 2014. In addition, the event will also incorporate a series of engaging performances and activities, promising the attendees an exciting evening filled with fun, enjoyment, and memories to take away, as they kick-start their enriching journey at NBS.

 

A Bash will be held prior to the Dinner & Dance. It acts as a pre-cursor to the main event, and the aim of organising this clubbing event is also to substantially publicise the Dinner & Dance and the pageant participants, while allowing the students to interact and enjoy themselves before the rigours of school kicks in. This event is also eagerly attended by members of the public.
